As I reflect on my life, there are so many reasons and people I am thankful for, that words cannot always describe and do justice to it.
Too often we are busy in our own world and we do not verbalize the many reasons we should be thankful for, rather than just take them for granted. Or even worse we are too be busy complaining about things and issues that are not important. By focusing on the negative we do a disservice to ourselves and to those to whom we should be thankful for.

Having lived in Marina Del Rey for about almost ten years, these demographics did not surprise me....
The beach community is mostly a renter community. People from all over the Globe want to live close to the Pacific Ocean, unfortunately their budget does not permit it. Hence some great business people recognized it 30+ years ago and took a risk in building a great many rental buildings and communities. Now with that said their risk had its rewards.

18425 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu has generated a lot of interest, one buyer actually went into Escrow with us and things were moving along smoothly. I have continued receiving calls from people as they drove by my sign. Next thing I know for some reason the calls slowed... so just out of curiosity I went by and wow. Someone stole the sign. Keep in mind Pacific Coast Highway is busy with local traffic and to boot from Tourist Traffic as well. I was a bit disappointed since it took some effort to get rid of my sign...

Have you fulfilled your dream? Diane and I walked along our old stomping grounds that we called home for eight plus years. Marina Del Rey, CA that is. Now with a different set of perspectives, three years removed we decided to take a stroll with our dog and interestingly we noticed this sculpture. It made me pause and reflect....

Those of you who consistently read my posts have seen me lamenting about a shortage of inventory. As you can see. There are legitimate reasons I have been complaining about the lack of inventory.

What does your Screen Saver tell about you? Interesting question and it turns out it tells a lot. I used to have an Ocean View in my face every time I turned on my Laptop or my Desk Top... those were the good old days. Next thing I know is we were living in Marina Del Rey, CA.
Then I switched and had picture of a home. Next thing you know we bought a home. So since then I have been rotating my Wall Paper on a periodic every few months for no rime or reason.

As I casually walk by the Ultra Expensive Beach Toilet & Showers the Government built for the Marina Del Rey, CA and Venice Beach, CA beach visitors and locals I keep thinking why? Why did we need to spend such outrageous amounts, but that is a different subject.

November 30th, Thanksgiving was just the other day So what is for Dinner tonite?
For all those who forget like me, Thanksgiving was on the 22nd of November. After Thanksgiving we had, Turkey Sandwiches with Lettuce, tomatoes and avocados for dinner, than we had Turkey Soup made with Turkey stock (bones and leftover Turkey meat and all), than we had Turkey Spring Rolls and then we had Turkey Ragu with Rigatoni Pasta.

Many of us think of Thanksgiving Dinner as a Family & Friends get together talk, laugh and eat and drink to the point of pleasantly over indulging.
We generally do not think of Thanksgiving Dinner as something out of the ordinary or something too Gourmet, or too extravagant, rather something we call comfort food. So with that said my Menu for this Thanksgiving will be:

Recent data suggest that the worst may be over and that the housing sector has begun to stabilize. This was on MSN.com a widely read portal on the internet.
"While we still have a long way to go back to normal, the latest numbers are one more indication that housing is slowly turning the corner," Bob Nielsen, chairman of the National Association of Home Builders, said recently. I have been meaning to to write about the Grocery Stores in Marina Del Rey, CA. I had to stop first and write about the demographics and population before. It is hard to believe that in this coastal community of Marina del Rey,( 8,000+ in Marina Proper or 18,000+ in 90292 zip code) there are so many Grocery Stores.
First I must let you know I love to cook, therefore I am passionate about having good and fresh produce. I am a firm believer the meal you prepare is only as good as the ingredients. The better the ingredience the better the meal.
