Clearly Jack and Jill have been talking to each other and not being satisfied that Carmen is getting better quality water than they are, they decided to take the matter in their own hands. Well see for yourself, Jill sneaked in and while Carmen was resting from all the work I assigned her to do Jill decided to have some of the "good water".

A little over a year ago, we had a huge stray cat problem in our neighborhood. All the neighbors were complaining, and I will just leave it at that. We helped a little by bringing Wiley into our home, despite Jill’s disapproval.

What's for Dinner?This question comes up every day as Diane is driving home from work... Then she tells me if she is in the mood for a bigger or a lighter meal. Last night she wanted something light so I made Copper River Salmon with salad instead of the usual sides of vegetables, and rice or potatoes... We are both thrilled since every time we see these Poppies we are reminded of my Assistant our little Schmoie. The other day I had to run to one of my favorite Grocery Stores, yes you guessed it Trader Joe's. I needed my Extra Virgin Olive Oil, my Sun Dried Tomatoes and the list goes on and on... but I am digressing.
In case I forgot to mention it, I love our climate which in turn allows vintage cars to be on the road all year around. So with that said clearly the owner of this car was at Trader Joe's in Westchester, CA 90045 too.

I am so grateful for owning our home in Westchester, CA. 90045 a section of the Greater Los Angeles area.
It took many spirited discussions, finally at one-point Diane agreed with me, that it was time to become a home owner. We discussed the pros and cons of condominium life vs. being a home owner. Then we discussed the pros and cons of location and ultimately, we discussed what we can get for our budget. All these were difficult and candid discussions. Did you know that Westchester, a section of Los Angles has a walk of fame too? Most people from all over the Globe are familiar with the Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. The ones that have the stars on the sidewalk and have the names engraved, that one is in Hollywood, another part of Los Angeles. As we walk our Westchester neighborhood, my assistant and I often stop and ponder and then just shake our heads as we move on.
There are many ways to fix problems, not all are as good as others. We have noticed that in our neighborhood in the 90045-zip code, there are some curbs that are too high for the standard driveway. My friend Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089 posted a picture of spider Lillie's the other day. I have searched my brains and could have sworn I saw something like that in my travels... needless to say tonight I was doing my final walk for the night with my Partner and I found this plant. I believe it is a Spider Lilly. Let's see if I was right in my travels.
Needless to say I was thrilled at this find now the Jury is out if Westchester, CA 90045 has the same climate to grow Spider Lilllie's as does Hawaii:))).

Almost Speechless Sunday: Backyard beauty. Three years ago there was this vine that was attacking our Naval Orange Tree that we thought was a lime tree, but that is a post for another time (The times and tribulations of a novice Citrus Farmer).
Diane wanted to get rid of it, I just wanted it trimmed a little. So we compromised, it was trimmed to to virtual oblivion. Needless to say, this Vine was not going to have any of this. The Vine was going to win both of us over.

Neighborhood Watch: Takes a lot of focus & concentration
I am confident if you have a neighborhood watch where you live, you clearly understand how hard work and a great deal of concentration and effort it takes to maintain or just even to participate in it.
Our block happens to have a neighborhood watch and the neighbors are very focused. The Captain of the Block is very active and so is the Sargent.
