Dear Friends of the Horseshoe Theatre-Monett, This is a last minute reminder for your chance to see our last two GREAT shows for the year 2010.
Saturday June 19th at 2 pm yes that's 2 (two) pm, ALAN YOUNG & Friends will be performing a Fund Raiser for the Horseshoe Theatre and me to pay some outstanding bills and I will be closing the Horseshoe for the rest of the year with plans to reopen next year in May of 2011.

We have a very exciting couple of days in our family. Favorite Oldest Son and his wife, delivered a beautiful baby girl early, early Thursday morning. (6-3-10) Breely Grace Willis arrived at 12:55 AM (what's up with that?) and weighed in at 8lbs. She measured 21 1/4". Normally when I get to do a good 'Out and About' I give kuddos to all the parties involved. No one was injured in the storm that went through Monett on May 13th. The clean up and rebuilding is being worked on. Several businesses along the path of the tornado suffered damage. Good enough for a WORDLESS. The family got together to celebrate our Favorite Oldest Son's B-day. Hard to believe he is now 30. (that is like 210 in dog years!) Could have made this post a WORDLESS- you know a picture is worth a thousand anyway. Shouts out to KAY Concrete of Monett 417-235-3628 for the awesome job on the floor pour. The crew had the pad poured for our new Auditorium first thing Tuesday morning. I snuck in a couple of shots to share before heading to crash a 1st grade Holiday Party.
I have to say I am so proud of how our Contractor is working so well with the Subs. This project is flying along. We should be seeing walls up soon.

The first time we visited the church in Monett was in 1986. We came to town for a family wedding. The fellowship building was used as the site for the reception. If I remember right the trees out front were a bit smaller then. We moved to Monett in 1995. Our family has been blessed to have opportunity to worship and work with the church while living here. There are as many reasons to sell a home as there are to buy one. In this case the sellers are very dear to me and I am happy to assist them in the sale of their property in MONETT. When 518 Logan street in Monett was purchased by my hubby's sister I was just starting out in the Real Estate Industry. (When I say just starting, I was literally still taking classes!) My son call me this morning to say that the auction down the road had a couple of quilts at it. He also said, there was no need to go b/c it was all stuff I already had. (yeah right!) There were a lot of people that showed up to buy mostly b/c of the antiques that were available. After seeing how high the items were selling for I resolved that I was NOT going to be bringing anything home. I watched at least a couple of dozen different ladies fondle this top and comment. I received the nicest e-mail from a local gal. Jeannine is gearing up for another 'show' featuring local artists. Of course I am invited and am extending my personal invite to you. This show will include a variety of works ranging from traditional to the un-traditional (you will have to see for yourself). Paintings, Print Work, and Photography will be displayed. To make a short story long- I had a client reschedule this morings appointment and decided to sneak in a hair cut with my "Found Time". I googled Perfect Images looking for a phone number and got everything to pull up but what I wanted. Last night was the Grand Opening of a new Studio in Monett, MO. Jeannine Blankinship Photography and Gallery on 3rd street is now open to the public. I was unable to attend last nights event but enjoyed my private tour earlier today. This is a must "see" to add to your 'TO-DO' list when visiting the area. When I first joined the Active Rain community of peers, I quickly figured out that I was in for an enjoyable life changing experience! I also knew that to have something to 'say' in this sea that my voice was going to have to learn the language of the participants.
