May 15, 2011 My daughter and I spotted this Snowy Owl on May 1, 2011 near some avalanches that had occurred previously in 2006 not far away from where she lives in Switzerland. I thought I was going to trip on my face when I saw this beautiful owl. Temperatures were in the high 70s. Global climate warming has taken an affect on the glaciers and I wonder how long it will take to make a signficant impact on animals, such as these. Will they still be there, long after I'm gone?
