Guide For First Time Home Buyers - Step 9

This is the final step in the Phoenix First Time Home Buyer Series!

All 8 previous home buying steps are listed at the bottom of this article if you've missed any of them.  Feel free to contact me if you have further question about buying your first home in the Phoenix area.  Knowledge is Power!

Step 9: Enjoy your first new home!

Congratulations on completing your first home buying process. If you had the right REALTOR it was probably more easy and painless than you thought! Now that it's all done and over with...your paperwork is complete, your fees have been taken care of, and the keys are yours, it's time to move in and enjoy your first new home.

My advice: Turn the house into YOUR home!

Moving into your first home is exciting! The best thing you can do is get settled and make the home yours. What I mean by that is, don't be afraid to paint, hang pictures, decorate, and put out the welcome mat. Once you get everything settled, it'll truly feel like your home.

Thanks for sticking with me through the process! Now that you've read all the steps in buying your first home....Give me a call and let's get started on finding you the perfect home for you!

Anna,

Love this series.  There is nothing more fun than seeing buyers enjoy their new home!  It's so nice to go back and see it later to see how they are enjoying it.

Have just been contacted by some buyers that are being relocated with a new job to a new country.  They said their biggest hurdle to considering the move is how much they LOVE their current home.  Be still my beating heart, that was fabulous to hear.

All the best, Michelle

Anna, What a terrific post and I am sure the book is, as well. First time homebuyers really do need to be educated on the process and even, those that have bought before find the process changes over the years. Buyers will be lucky to have you as their agent! Looks like I have some more reading to do since I just tuned in....

Richard anybody living in Orange County should be calling you for their real esate needs - seriously. First time home buyers do need a lot more attention, thus the ebook was born two years ago.  I'm happy to say it's helped out a lot of first time homebuyers.

Peggy - we get a lot of requests for the book.  It's an easy read for first time home buyers -at least that's the feedback I hear.

Lou - thanks!

Michelle - It is so much fun handing them the keys and letting them open the door to their dreams.  Every time is special!  And like you said - it's so good to hear that folks LOVE their home. I sure feel that way about mine.

Belinda - we have such a vast array of styles here in Phoenix. Something for everybody's tastes and style.

Mary - thanks so much!  The really do need education and somebody who has the patience and enthusiasm to walk them through the process and keep it as simple and stress-free and FUN as possible. I've had many of them say something like  ' I had no idea buying a home would be so much fun!" Now that - alwasy makes me know that I've done my job right.  Enjoy the read....let me know what cha think!

Count me in - this will be a time saver in the long run. Great idea giving your ebook for free to buyers, and gathering new home buyer contacts from the sign-ups.
