Things to do in Alameda:  The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 27 morning from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  All the summer fruits and vegetables are available and great prices..  So good.  Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits and vegetables.  The market is at Webster Street and Haight Avenue.

Things to do in Alameda: Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid are back with more food trucks on August 24, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
in the South Shore Center parking lot near Petco.  Ten trucks including Curry Up Now, Fins on the Hoof, Hapa SF, KoJa Kitchen, Mayo & Mustard, Pacific Puffs, The Chairman, Twister Trust, We Sushi and Whip Out!.

Things to do in Alameda:  Its time for another “Woody Walk” on Sunday, August 25 at 1:00 pm.   The walk will meet at Lincoln Park where Woody Minor, an Alamedan who knows all about Alameda’s history, will share some interesting facts and fun anecdotes about the area once known as Waterside Terrace. Woody’s Walks are sponsored by the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society.  Free to AAPS members, $5 for non-members.
