Halloween Events in Delray Beach- 2016
Halloween is around the corner and that means a parade and lots of fun activities for kids of all ages.
Saturday, October 29, 2016:
11:30 to 1 PM Trick or Treat Along the Avenue
Sponsored by the Downtown Merchants Association and the Rotary Club, this is a safe and fun way to take the wee ones out to go Trick or Treating and say hello to our local merchants.
Trick or Treating is along Atlantic Avenue from Swinton to the Intracoastal.
1:00 PM The Annual Halloween Parade
This is an informal and fun parade that begins at the southeast corner of Old School Square Park and ends up at Veterans Park at Atlantic and the Intracoastal.
There’s free ice at Veteran’s Park for all parade participants!
1:00 to 4:00 PM Kidfest at Veterans Park (802 NE 1st Street)
This event is a family event that has entertainment, a bounce house, food vendors, craft sites, and more!
It’s FREE!!!! There will also be booths providing information on family health, safety and fun activities. Something new this year is a Scavenger Hunt! You can pick up your list from the Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Booth and begin your search.

The Fourth Annual Halloween Fall Fest at the Delray Beach Historical Society
From 6 to 9 PM this is a FREE event! There will be the Ghost Town Delray Haunted House at Space of Mind campus, outdoor movies, games, crafts, a costume contest, and more at the Cason Cottage.

The Fifth Annual Witches of Delray Bike Ride
This is an annual event to raise funds for the Achievement Centers for Children and Families. Your $20 fee goes to this wonderful organization. Meet at 7:45 AM at Old School Square (51 N. Swinton Avenue) The ride begins at 8:55 and ends back at arrives back at Old School Square at the Green Market. The route takes you along Swinton, Pineapple Grove, George Bush Blvd, along A1A, down Atlantic and back to OSS.
Be on time because the route is timed to avoid drawbridge openings!
