Alameda Walks to Corica Park Golf Course on Saturday, June 9, from 9 am to 10:15 am. Dennis Evanosky and Eric Kos will lead the walk to discover historical plaques and the renovations of the park. Meet at Corica Golf Course, 1 Clubhouse Memorial Drive.
The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, June 9, and Tuesday, June 12 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, June 9, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Tern Time” on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
Noon to 1:30 at Ploughshares on Saturday, June 9, learn to use native plants to benefit pollinators. Free admission Ploughshares is at 2701 Main Street in Alameda.
