Hey Newbie, There is great news you need to hear. It is said that new agents face a daunting task. And that is true. Real Estate is not a easy business, not for the faint of heart. Recently I learned something interesting about dominos. (hmm, must have been a slow day in the higher thought dominion) It turns out there's a very specific math governing the way dominos work, and the rule is that a domino can knock over another domino that is up to 50% larger. So many years ago I recall seeing from my bedroom window my Father raising the flag in the front yard as the sun turned the skyline pink. Every morning, the same thing and every evening, respectfully lowering and folding. He never knew I watched. Never knew that the little things he did others watched. In December I wrote Just One Thing featuring a bottle of Honest Tea. The Honest Tea folks gave me a big hello. Honestly. And of course they already knew I like the Moroccan Mint. This made be feel great, really motivated...when Honest Tea said "I see you." In your years and years of blogging have you attracted the attention of vendors or business owners who wanted to thank you, not sell you something? I mean EVERY agent still in business since 2008 was THERE when predatory lending and Bank of America's buy off of Moody investment rating system brought this nations and the worlds economy to the brink of collapse. There still exists the temptation to exploit the most vulnerable, perhaps increasingly desperate, segment of the working class. For these folks who 'barely' make it from paycheck to paycheck, any hit to their credit report costs them more money in the amount they pay for rent, insurance and to borrow money.
