Yesterday was a waiting day, and client focus day. I started at 7AM with phone calls, emails, and texts because my client is an early riser and we had a particularly trying closing coming up--or not. What am I thinking about late Saturday night? Toilets. A seller just had a new well pump/motor thingie installed. She lives out of state, so I was there to test before the well guys left. Sunday, April 20th, around 4:30 AM I was awakened by what I thought was the sound of my son gagging. He had been ill a couple of days before, so I got up to check on him. I also thought I smelled burnt popcorn. I remember wondering why my daughter was microwaving popcorn so early in the morning. Good news! The market is not stagnant. Weird maybe, but not stagnant. Please keep in mind that the figures below do not include: Condos, shouldn't include mobile homes, and should include the criteria listed below. Remember too, that only takes a couple of MLS listings with data incorrectly listed for the figures to be skewed. It shouldn't make a big deal that a property listed as 39000 sq feet is 3900 square feet. Most of us would figure that's the case. So Sister Suzi (some of you know me by that for a reason:-) gives the broker a call. Yep, its 3900 sq feet. He seemed like he was aware of it and did not give me an indication he would change it. It doesn't take long as an Active Rain member to realize you really don't need to be notified each time a response has been made to a blog you commented on. It can get very distracting, especially if you are in the middle of commenting on a blog, developing a blog, or involved in other REal work:-) . AR provides a couple of simple fixes. #1--Change your personal email settings (you can always check your AR home page periodically for comment updates) , #2--uncheck the "Notify me of new comments box" . Also, it might be nice to mention if you found the blog you are commenting on from a: AR search, A web search, or a category such as new blogs, featured blogs, etc. I find many super blogs in the process of reciprocity.
