Jigsaw Puzzles and a Camera
About a month ago there was a power outage in Baltimore...Being Prepared in Baltimore Means Having a Generator!
That's when my daughter and I started doing jigsaw puzzles. Having a camera means not having to save the puzzles...just put them back in the box.

Puzzles are great for any age,from the young to the old. They say its great activity for the brain .
Great idea. I hate taking puzzles apart after all that work, but you can't save them all. I'm soooo going to do this. Thanks for the tip.

Margaret, there is nothing like a jigsaw puzzle when you're stuck inside in a storm.
Today, we have a camera ready for anything. Before the camera phone came along, that may not have been the case.
A wonder thing to be doing with your daughter, those moments are priceless.
You're much more patient than me Margaret, but what a fun hobby and great way to pass the time.
Roger and I would be looking for the adult beverages...afraid the ice would melt if the outage lasted !
Reminds me of my dining room table years ago during the winter. Anyone in the family could work on it when they had some time. It was a lot of fun and rewarding too. What a great idea you had. Beautiful puzzles

Margaret, she looks just like you! That apple didn't fall far from the tree. I love to do puzzles, haven't done one in years. And yes, all the proof you need is in the photo, LOL.
Margaret- I love jigsaw puzzles. Several years ago I downloaded Brainsbreaker ($20) which is a jigsaw puzzle I work on my computer. You can make a puzzle out of any picture and you don't have to be on the internet. The down side, of course, is that it really is easier to work these on your own. I love it and it's helped my eye-hand skills. We used to play with my neighbor down the street and once I couldn't resist the temptation and hid one piece from her. We were almost finished but for that one piece. We had a good laugh.
Andrea, Erica is a very special daughter and we do look alike.
Kathy, Doing a jigsaw on the computer defeats the purpose of getting away for a couple of minutes. That is funny hiding one piece from your neighbor.
I have clients that do jigsaw puzzles, glue and then hang them up as artwork. They tend to do Florida type scenes of palms and things so it goes with the decor in their condo. It seems a lot of work to do the puzzle only to take a photo and toss it back in the box!
