Fishhawk Lake Yesterday Morning at Cannon Beach Fishhawk Lake is always a wonderful place to wake up to, and yet there are those moments when it's good to get away. We woke up to this morning view of Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach yesterday. There was still a half moon lingering way above Haystack Rock. The photographers dotted the beach with their tripods. I just shot around them.

Fishhawk Lake Real Estate-Travels to the Pacific Coast of Oregon After a week's vacation, I'm jumping right back into work mode. Today brings new buyers coming to view several of my listings with others lining up for appointments, after all kinds of calls while I was away from Fishhawk Lake. Isn't that always the case? So, in order to be "taken away" momentarily, I have pulled up a dreamy shot from our yearly tryst to Pacific City.

Fishhawk Lake Record Heavy Rains for Pacific Northwest This week proved to be a bit dicey in the potential flooding of our Fishhawk Lake area as well as Vernonia. The first real flood we had here at Fishhawk Lake was in 2007. We had torrential rains, mudslides, fallen trees and all in about 4 hours’ time. It was a disaster as many homes were flooded.
This time, five years later, we were prepared at Fishhawk Lake. On November 20, 2012 we got hit again. (A month earlier this time). This was the scenery days before.
Fishhawk Lake is NEAR the Oregon Coast!
