mortgage: FHA Condo Project Approvals

FHA Condo Project Approvals The short video below explains the process of getting a condominium project approved with the FHA, so that homebuyers (especially first-time homebuyers) may purchase condo units listed for sale. This video's target audience is HOA board of directors of any common interest development, or property management companies that oversee condominium projects. However, we are all aware that often it is the real estate agents who are trying to list, or help a client buy, a condo unit who are uncovering the need for condominium project approvals.

Recommended General Contractor in Marin CountyWhen it comes to the general contracting on a custom home in Marin County, California, or perhaps something less ambitious like a kitchen or bathroom remodel, there is a company that always comes to mind and that I never hesitate to recommend: Diego Brothers, Inc. Jack and Jim Diego have been building homes in Marin for decades. They grew up in the community. They know everyone and everyone knows them. And those who do know them appreciate their integrity and professionalism, as well as the legacy of their work. One of my good friends owns a custom (0 comments)

Saving the Housing Market: A Call to Action I am looking to create a panel of experts who will compile a list of clear action items that would aim to break the downward spiral in the housing market and help the broader economy as a result. Our collaboration will begin immediately and will culminate with a conference call on July 1, on which we'll consolidate our best ideas. Thereafter we will compile a report that we can present to our local, State and Federal legislators. To date, no politicians, economists, bankers or other real estate professionals have been this proactive, and (4 comments)

The Dipsea Race, A Marin Institution "...your Dipsea begins in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..." Anyone who has found himself/herself in the start corral in Lytton Square, Mill Valley, on the second Sunday in June can tell you about the feelings that phrase evokes. For me, having completed five Dipsea races, I can just sense my heart (and stomach) rising into my throat. I know I'm soon in for an hour of adrenaline, pain, dread and finally, Stinson Beach in sight, relief. One can read about the Dipsea course itself in a ton of places on the web. The lore and history of its vicious 7.5 miles of stairs (0 comments)
Great. Now that we have been able to indentify some of the legislative, regulatory and economic absurdities foisted upon the real estate and mortgage markets since 2007/2008, it's time to move on. That's right. No more crying over spilled milk. What I want to talk about here is Washington's bent towards this concept of "skin in the game," the apparent panacea for housing's woes. The theory goes like this: Buyers who have a vested (onerous?) interest in the (5 comments)
