Most of my readers know I thoroughly enjoy Wolf Trap. The National Park provides wonderful concerts year around and in the summer, there is out door seating.
Friday and Saturday evening, May 23 & 24, Garrison Keillor with the News from Lake Wobegon will be performing. In addition, he will have other guests with him as well, including Heather Masse.

I noticed today, when on the Wolf Trap website, there is still another concert this month worth attending. The group, Schooner Fare, will be performing on January 31st and February 1st, 2014.
If you enjoy an energetic concert, original and traditional folk songs, as well as 6 & 12 string guitars, 5 string banjos and more, then you won't want to miss this event. Most of my readers know I'm a huge Wolf Trap fan. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy going to many of the shows and I am always delighted to share some of the up and coming concerts with you.
The Doobie Brothers will be at Wolf Trap in the Filene Center on July 6th, 2013. Tickets are $42.00 in house and $25.00 on the lawn. Remember, lawn seats can be a great place to sit. You can bring some food and enjoy the show!

Earlier today, I was updating my Calendar with Wolf Trap happenings and couldn't help but notice two events taking place on June 14th & 15th. I thought I would post these events for you to consider.

One of my favorite things to do in Northern Virginia is to visit Vienna. Simply walking or driving down Main Street is a great experience. There are grocery stores, plenty of restaurants and unique shops. Additionally, don't forget about Wolf Trap!

You will want to plan ahead for this. I noticed, while on the Wolf Trap website this afternoon, that A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor will be at the Feline Center this spring. The dates are May 24 & 25, 2013.
