Each year, Langley Washington located on Whidbey Island, participates in a local mystery. This year
"IN COLD MUD" - Gold Fever Leads to Murder
Typically a fake newspaper story is fun in the South Whidbey Record or a fake newspaper is created and purchased from the Visitors Center with details involving everyone in the murder.  Those that participate are instructed to search every store for a box of cards with a clue to the mystery.
