West Cobb average prices are starting to show a downtrend. The number of transactions have definately been going down over that last few years.

I think that this is a great area to consider especially if you can snag a good foreclosure deal.  The public schools seem to remain highly ranked and it has great access to the Town Center Mall.  There are some really nice homes that have been built in the area.

The numbers below are for single family detached homesin FMLS area 74. Links to stats for other areas are at the bottom of the page.

Year over year, total transactions decreased from 63 to 53 (-16%)

Year over year, average sales price decreased from $320,871 to $243,796 (-24%)

All data for graphs is taken from the FMLS statistics put out by Smart Numbers.
