Oh yes, the great debate. I do enjoy this one too. I'm 100% polarized and non-negotiable on this one. It only helps agents and their clients, but somehow many see it as "offensive" and they argue hard for their limitations against using this one...but why? Amateurs and Hypocrites Don't Use This, But Professionals Certainly Do; see they'll lock-in a seller on a Listing Agreement, yet become high and mighty about "never using one" for their buyers...but why? You will actually defeat the purpose of the peace of mind you seek, if you seek "balance" in your life. Balance is a myth. What you seek is always in flux, therefore it's balancing you seek; those precious moments where you achieve the escape from your business and truly focus on your life, family and goals.

We have so much technology available to use today. A person wanting to buy a home can go online, search homes, research schools, walk the neighborhood on Google Maps and even pre-qualify themselves with on an online mortgage calculator. Sellers have self-service opportunities too. There are Apps coming, if not already available, that will allow a homeowner to connect to a home buyer through the APP, strike a deal and close a sale of a home.
Problem: a great agent, makes Real estate look easy. The perspective is skewed.

Properties advertised on websites like VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner) and AirBnB, essentially any rental with less than a 30 day lease, are coming under fire and at the moment, not permitted in San Diego, CA.
As a neighbor I can understand the fight against them, I don't want new vacationers in and out of the house or condo next door every week, it changes the dynamic of living in my home.
