computers: Disappointment with Computer technology

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz is very disappointed with computor technology with yet another laptop going down ;o(
In the last 3-4 years I have purchased 2 Microsoft computers which lasted about 6+ months and then they fail with different problems. By the time I bring them in, get them fixed and pay the bill I could have bought another new one.
Well I will never purchase another PC laptop computer run by Microsoft. And 2 weeks ago my Mac Pro 17 inch took a dump and I can't log into it ;o(

Vegas Bob wants to know where is everybody???
With the (new) platform at the ActiveRain network the beginning of this week there have been some down spots for Vegas Bob.
I spent a couple days trying to post and load up photos from my cell phone because being on the run 24/7 and the type of work I do during the week, my cell phone is sometimes the only way for Vegas Bob.
We live in the 21st century with voice activated text messaging from our cell phones, able to take videos & photos, so why can't we write a (voice activated) post to … (15 comments)

For any of you out there that are caught up and or possibly controlled by money, please try and take a break.
Sure Money is important for paying bills, getting ahead and or keeping up with the "Jones" ...
But did you know for the most part, many of us can make money anytime?
And did you know that if many of us were to budget more and or get rid of some of the material and or garbage we have collected over the years that we would have more money and time for our families?
Time with our families, relatives and close friends cannot be replaced.

It's been almost 2 months now since Vegas Bob has been in front of a laptop or desk computer ;o(
He have been posting blogs at Activerain from a old IPhone 4, ten plus times per week, moderating 25 groups and leaving 20 comments per day to AR members.
Well now it has become worse for Vegas Bob ...
He just moved in with some coworkers huge RV trailer in Morgan Hill by the wine vineyards .
When VB and friends are in the trailer and RV park grounds, there is "ZERO" Internet device and "ZERO" phone service.

With "Thanksgiving Day" coming up tomorrow, Vegas Bob has some advice for Bloggers around the World.
Please show some respect to Family & Friends by turning off your computers. And please take your smart phones (which really aren't smart at all) and turn them off and put them away ... ;o/
There is nothing more rude then either being on the computer or on your (not so smart phones), while Family & Friends are visiting for the holiday.

From a PC to a MAC PRO 17 inch - "What's your opinion?"
I picked up a MAC PRO computer last week and I have never used a MAC because a PC have been my choice of computers.
Between my 60 hours per week at one of my jobs and getting use to the MAC it has been very difficult for me to post stories, etc. at Activerain and other networks.
It won't take me long and the reason I went to MAC is because I will be spending quite a bit of time filming Las Vegas and other cities … (15 comments)

Vegas Bob lost around 700 points yesterday because his computer crashed!
Yes it's true my computer was down yesterday and I wasn't very happy about it because I average approximately between 700-1000 points per day.
So now I have to make up for it but I have to work a 12 hour shift!
Later this evening I will be posting around 3 special blogs to make up for the loss and I do want to apologize to everyone.

BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU!
Facebook, My Space, Twitter, Linked in and all these other Web networks, some quick simple questions!
1) Are these networks another way for the government and other individuals to monitor people and know where their located?
2) Can people on their computers be traced back to their IP computer address?
3) Have you ever read the book (1984) or seem the movie?
4) What are your opinions on this subject!
5) With all the computer chips in our electronics, are we loosing more and more (Privacy)?
