Alaska Bob aka Robert Swetz is happy to say that the name "Alaska Bob" through Robert Swetz has finally hit First Page of Google while searching the name. This happened several weeks ago and Robert Swetz is very excited about finally hitting First Page. I had a vision and reason for pushing the name Alaska Bob and this vison came true in about 6 months.

Alaska Bob is very happy to say that his last day working construction in San Jose California will be November 25th ...
AB/VB had set a previous date in December, but has recently changed it!
Vegas Bob is looking forward to getting back to Las Vegas, sleep in his own bed after staying in Morgan Hill NorCal since January 2015.
Vegas Bob is going to hook up with his brother and family, take some CE classes for RE, study for his Alaska state test for RE, update his passport and take care of some business transactions.

Alaska Bob is getting very excited about going home for the Holidays ;o)
Working on a construction project in San Jose California since February of this year has only allowed Alaska Bob aka Vegas Bob a 10 day visit all year in July.
So I am very excited about getting out of California, and chilling in Anchorage Alaska ...
Sure it gets cold, sure it snows, sure the days have very little sunlight ...
But I will not be working and spending quality time with my wife and 2 boys.

The strangest thing happened to me while the Curtain was down at Activerain for maintenance yesterday October 8th.
Alaska Bob aka Vegas Bob (did not) know that the Activerain network would be shut down for maintenance Thursday October 8th.
So I Googled the name Alaska Bob like I do everyday just to check it's ranking.
Low and behold, around the same time I searched Alaska Bob and was writing a post, the Activerain network was getting ready to Close the Curtain.
The results of AR closing the curtain, etc shot the name Alaska Bob down to page 20, and days before it was showing up on … (24 comments)

Alaska Bob aka Robert Vegas Bob Swetz is getting very excited about his next visit to Alaska.
Alaska Bob will be spending Christmas with his new family up in Anchorage.
AB will also be spending the cold winter days of January & possibly February.
Because I will be spending time during the winter months, I thought I would share some photos that I took around the mountains back in November of 2014.
And for anyone wondering how Vegas Bob is going to handle the long cold winter days & nights of Alaska.
Well, I was raised in the Midwest with very similar winter temps as Anchorage or Homer Alaska.

Robert Alaska Bob Swetz aka Vegas Bob was suffering for around one week with no Internet service.
AB/VB was posting blogs with his (not so smart) phone, and even leaving several comments which was a real pain in the butt ;o(

I never thought in a million years that I would rise that fast, but with steady blogging and posts with the name Robert Alaska Bob Swetz, it has happened.
In the beginning of 2016, Robert Swetz will share with readers more on his concern and reasons for rising to the top.
I had to post this blog on my smart phone because the Internet is down, so it's a real pain in the butt.

excited: Alaska Bob's wife and boys saw Obama in Anchorage today

Early this morning when I heard president Obama was going to be in Alaska, I had to text my wife and the boys.
Later while I was at work I recieved a call from my wife, and she was so excited because president Obama went driving by while some of the main streets were blocked.
With the small size of Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska with approx 300,000 people, it's not very difficult for locals to know when The Man is in town ;o)

There is a great possibility that Vegas Bob may be purchasing some wooded acreage in Homer Alaska soon!
That's right, Vegas Bob has been looking at lake lots and vacant acreage around Willow, Wasilla, Anchorage and Homer Alaska for around one year now.
Vegas Bob will be in Las Vegas for several days looking over some of his accounts and other financial investments.
While VB was on vacation 10 days last week, VB and his wife found a beautiful lot with pine trees and natural flowers everywhere.

Between Anchorage, Seward, Homer and Wasilla, Robert Swetz will be traveling, fishing and taking photographs ... and videos.

Vegas Bob is really getting excited about spending the first part of July in Alaska
Here is a post I wrote about my halibut fishing trip in Homer Alaska.

Vegas Bob will be fishing Halibut in Homer and spending 3 days and nights by the ocean.
Then Vegas Bob will be headed to Wasilla and spending 3 days ght in a motel on Lucile Lake with his wife and boys.
While staying in Wasilla, VB and family will be hiking up at "Hatchers Pass" and hiking by the rivers and lakes around Wasilla Alaska.

How many people out there are ready for June? And where did the month of May go?
Time keeps slipping away very fast in 2015 and Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz is very excited about time passing by.
Even though Vegas Bob is getting older, he is getting closer to retirement and the second week of July, VB will be bonding with his family and fishing in Alaska.
So Robert Swetz hopes the month of June goes by even faster than the month of May.

Life in the Fast Lane
Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has been working and driving in the Fast Lane in the Bay Area in Northern California for the last couple months.
Working long hours is taking a toll on Vegas Bob and he is looking forward to taking some time off when this project is complete in San Jose.
The project should finish up around November/December of 2015.
Vegas Bob is seriously thinking about taking one year off from construction and living with his wife in Alaska.
Vegas Bob has already spoken with his wife Lin and she is very excited and mentioned that she is ready … (6 comments)

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has been working Saturdays now for several months, which is "Double Time" ;o)
Double Time is 100+ per hour, free Dental & Medical, + pension, + money going into a 401K and another separate pension. This is great money and Vegas Bob is always excited to make this, even though 50% of the people he works with are rude, vulgar, etc.
The way Vegas Bob sees it is ...
The job won't last forever and when the job is finished, Vegas Bob will be able to purchase a small condo in Vegas, Anchorage or Alabama ;o)
