Unbelievable ... Alaska Bob aka Vegas Bob finally was able to get Internet service where he is staying in Morgan Hill California.
Saturday Robert Swetz spent around 5 hours at the beaches of BIG SUR, relaxing and hiking around.
In fact VB hiked down some cliffs that other travelers were scared to hike down.
Which gave VB the whole beach to enjoy with his higher power ... God ;o)
As I sat there in privacy, I spoke with my higher power working on which direction he wanted me to go.

Robert Alaska Bob Swetz aka Vegas Bob was suffering for around one week with no Internet service.
AB/VB was posting blogs with his (not so smart) phone, and even leaving several comments which was a real pain in the butt ;o(
But finally Vegas Bob got his Mojo out, and was able to post a blog on Activerain without his cell phone ;o)

Are Business Cards a waste of Money???
I would have to say that handing out Business Cards to other agents at conventions, group meetings, etc are a waste of money.
Robert 'Vegas Bob" Swetz has been a member of many groups like LeTip International, round table events and more.
And for agents to give large groups of their Business Cards to members of the groups is a total waste of money.
In fact over the years, I personally think Business Cards period are a waste of money.

Lucile Lake Wasilla Alaska by Robert Swetz 2014
Alaska Bob aka Robert Swetz/Vegas Bob will be traveling from Homer Alaska to Lucile Lake in Wasilla today July 15th 2015.
Vegas Bob will be stopping in Anchorage to pick up a few things and then drive to Wasilla which is a 45 minute drive from Anchorage.
Alaska Bob and family will be staying at a hotel on Lucile Lake for several days, relaxing and maybe even do a little fishing off the dock.

Vegas Bob just wanted to touch base with all his friends and associates from the Activerain network.

Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz joined the ActiveRain network in January of 2008, one of his web designers turned him on to AR.
She said with new websites that it would be a great idea to start writing posts and blogging to help create presence and search engine optimization.
Well my web designer was right!
Not only did the ActiveRain network create a presence, with that some old time members gave Robert Swetz the famous name Vegas Bob ;o)

Robert Swetz captured this wonderful photo of the sun setting into the horizon this evening after he was driving home from work.
It was a long day at work, but viewing this beautiful sun set really makes me thankful.

Well sometimes the truth hurts, especially in this situation ... But don't worry, I might leave a comment anyway ;o)
I do my best to leave 10 -20 comments per day, and also do my best to feature as many of these comments to my 20 different groups at Activerain.
So that being said, I don't have enough time to read long drawn out posts at Activerain.
So what is my trick?
Well, it's quite easy ...
I go to the first couple comments left at the post and create my own comment from them.

Here are just a handful of the many groups at Activerain that Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz moderates himself! Robert Swetz has more groups at Activerain then any other member and always finds time to (Feature), comment and reply to most comments left in these groups.
The main reason that Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz formed all these group is because when he first joined Certain Groups were deleting his posts from their groups. This bothered Robert so bad that he started forming his own.

As everyone in the world knows by now, I have only been using my old iPhone 4 for writing blogs and commenting to AR members blogs.
Here is what I can't figure out ...
For the last 2 months I have been taking photographs with my iPhone of the beaches, sunsets, surfers, and so much more around the Bay Area, and then loading them to Facebook.
Never a problem ...
So that being said, why won't the Activerain network allow me to post new photos from my iPhone?

Vegas Bob is interested in getting licensed as a Real Estate agent in the state of Alaska.
Vegas Bob wants to become licensed in 2 states and sell both real estate in Nevada and Alaska.
And Vegas Bob wants his friends and associates from the Activerain network to help direct him.
If Vegas Bob wanted to do it by himself he could, but VB likes asking for help.
Sometimes we learn more by asking for help then by doing things ourselves ;o)

As we get further and further into the future and the years continue to go by, holidays and traditions can change.
Holidays and traditions can either become more popular or less popular with new generations of people growing up.
So that being said ... do the new generations of family, friends and people growing into new ages really know what "Good Friday means?
Has the true meaning of "Good Friday" been explained to them?
Or do they think it's just what it sounds like ... Good Friday.

As a photographer of 40+ years there may be some of you wondering why a photographer doesn't attach a photo with his post!
Well let me tell you something ... "I would love too" ;o)
But I am going a record 2 months straight with no Internet ;o(
Sure, I have wifi on my old iPhone, but the Activerain networks website "will not" allow me to load up any new photos.
Sure, it allows me to load some, not all of the photos I already have in my photo library ... But no new ones!

I know there have been posts written about where the Activerain name came from, but I have never read any.
So after being a member of the Activerain network since January 2008, I would like to know who named this real estate network ... ActiveRain?
It is quite an unusual name, but then again so is Google, Twitter, LinkedIn, just to name a few.
So if there are any Activerain members that might know where the Activerain network got it's name, please come forward.
