“Converting a Rental Call” We own a fair amount of rental properties and that means turnover of tenants and speaking to tenants. I field all the calls myself, something I truly enjoy doing.
I always want to get a firsthand impression of my possible new tenant. One part of the conversation has to do with their future desire to achieve home ownership and of course, my being able to do a mortgage for them.

“15 Year Low in Home Ownership” Is it that difficult to figure out why we are at a 15 year low? In the last 5 years how many foreclosures have there been? How restrictive have all the recent credit guidelines been? I get calls every day from folks that want to get pre-qualified to purchase a home, but for one reason or another, they can’t qualify right now. “The FED Sets Guidelines for REO Rentals” Let me know if you have the same reaction as me. Is there any part of our lives that the FED is not involved? How we should act and how we should think.
