As the days, weeks and months continue to pass by Vegas Bob's exitement about future retirement grows closer.
Time just seems to be going by so fast lately that I can't believe how old I'm getting and how close to retirement for me is around the corner.
Vegas Bob will be taking a 2 week vacation in Alaska around the middle of June 2019 ... Vegas Bob's 2 week vaction in Alaska

I deleted one of my FaceBook accounts today and there may be more ...
Late last evening and into this morning I started to unfriend family and friends at one of my FaceBook accounts.
The FaceBook a account that I just deleted was opened up in March of 2008 so it took me around 2+ hours to delete everything.
I know FaceBook and the FBI keep everything that was ever loaded including photos, friends, etc but I still wanted to delete what I could.
I have a couple other FaceBook accounts that I will be cleaning up, dropping so called friends and acquaintances, and possibly … (8 comments)

Here are some great photographs that I took at the old Imperial Palace in Las Vegas Nevada which is now part of the LINQ Hotel Casino. These photos were taken with a wide angle so a couple of them look kind of strange, especially the red T-Bird in the photo below.
And right below the T-Bird photo is a great video I took in downtown Henderson Nevada many years ago.

Sunrise over Lucille Lake Wasilla Alaska by Robert Swetz I finally was able to break away from work on Labor Day weekend and visit my family in Alaska. The last time I was in Alaska was in 2016 so you might understand my excitement being there again. I am wrapping up a job in Silicon Valley in NorCal so it's very difficult for me to break away. That's right only hours before Debra Leisek took these photos of mother moose, VB/AB was parked there with family wanting to wish Debra a "Happy New Year" in person.
When VB/AB was driving with his family the day before looking for moose to photograph and take videos of, he came across a mother moose that looking just like this one!

As Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob strolled to his parked car in Thousand Trails RV campground in Morgan Hill California at 12:00 midnight July 31st, he noticed a HUGE cloud of smoke 10 feet from his car.
So VB quickly walked over to his car and there was an old large tree trunk about 6 feet long on the ground, with hot amber about 2 feet long inside the tree.
VB quickly jumped into his car and drove only minutes to the guard gate to alert them.

Alaska Bob/Vegas Bob had a very successful day fishing Halibut in Homer Alaska July 12th 2015.
Vegas Bob entered a contest trying to win a $25,000 dollar prize by catching the largest halibut in the year 2015.
Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob aka Alaska Bob did catch a 140 pound halibut, but did not beat the recent holding record so far of 247 pounds caught by a lady 2 weeks ago in Homer.

There is one problem though ... Vegas Bob's relatives from far away are so shy.
They don't like taking photographs and Vegas Bob can't figure out why?

As a photographer of 40+ years there may be some of you wondering why a photographer doesn't attach a photo with his post!
Well let me tell you something ... "I would love too" ;o)
But I am going a record 2 months straight with no Internet ;o(
Sure, I have wifi on my old iPhone, but the Activerain networks website "will not" allow me to load up any new photos.
Sure, it allows me to load some, not all of the photos I already have in my photo library ... But no new ones!

She mailed it from Alaska 4 days ago and I will be picking up my new phone at her sisters home in Fremont California tomorrow after work.

Vegas Bob has been down in SoCal for 5 days now just walking the beaches "Day in & Day out" between 10-15 miles every afternoon.
VB has stumbled across some pretty strange stuff lying along the beaches, some Beach Sand Art, dead sea creatures washed ashore, etc. But VB has never stumbled across a "Punk Rock Dog" ...

For the last 6 months I have been reloading photographs that I have posted to the Internet and (Watermarking) them with my name.
Ater time the (Watermarked) photos will over power the older ones with non watermark photos.
Any of my photographs that I share anymore on the Internet always have a (Watermark) and if they don't I may have forgotten to attach one.

“Pauly D” was down on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas riding the Zip-Line from on end of Fremont Street to the other. Many tourists did not recognize Pauly D at first but it didn’t take long before many of them grabbed their cameras and were chasing him.
