Alaska Bob/Vegas Bob had a very successful day fishing Halibut in Homer Alaska July 12th 2015.
Vegas Bob entered a contest trying to win a $25,000 dollar prize by catching the largest halibut in the year 2015.
Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob aka Alaska Bob did catch a 140 pound halibut, but did not beat the recent holding record so far of 247 pounds caught by a lady 2 weeks ago in Homer.

For any of you out there that are caught up and or possibly controlled by money, please try and take a break.
Sure Money is important for paying bills, getting ahead and or keeping up with the "Jones" ...
But did you know for the most part, many of us can make money anytime?
And did you know that if many of us were to budget more and or get rid of some of the material and or garbage we have collected over the years that we would have more money and time for our families?
Time with our families, relatives and close friends cannot be replaced.

As everyone knows by now Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has serveral family connections in Alaska.
Between Anchorage, Seward, Homer and Wasilla, Robert Swetz will be traveling, fishing and taking photographs ... and videos.
Now who from the Activerain network wants to follow and view Vegas Bob's photographs and videos?
And as for another day in Paradise, well it is coming soon ...

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz is so excited because some very close special relatives are in town.
There is one problem though ... Vegas Bob's relatives from far away are so shy.
They don't like taking photographs and Vegas Bob can't figure out why?
So they look a little different ...
Animals all look different, and you don't see them trying to hide from the camera.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz and family will be fishing for halibut July 12th 2015 ...
The Fishing Charter to fish halibut has been booked in Homer Alaska.
Vegas Bob, his wife and two other relatives will be fishing the second week of July.
Vegas Bob has booked a motel room for 3 nights over looking the snow cap mountains on the beach in Homer Alaska.
Price to fish per person is $300 dollars, the charter supplies the poles, reals, bait, etc.
Each person can keep only 2 fish ...
Average size is approx 80 lbs and some halibut can reach up to 350 lbs.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has seen, heard and felt ghosts and or spirits all his life, since he was a young boy.
Robert Swetz's mother's relative's are from Romania, so chances are Robert's relative's may have been gypsy's and or fortune tellers.

For quite some time now Vegas Bob has been interested in being licensed in 2 different states. As everyone knows VB is licensed in the State of Nevada but has always wanted to also be licensed in the state of California.
Well this dream may have taken a turn ...
Now with family and friends in Alaska, VB is thinking of getting licensed in AK vs Cali and also keep his license active in Nevada.
And even if VB doesn't get licensed to sell Real Estate in the state of Alaska, he will continue visiting whenever possible.

I know we live in a world full of technology, but where do we draw the line?
I remember when there were no cell phones for business, people had pagers. When a person needed to be contacted for business or emergency, their pagers would go off. Then they would use a land line to return the call.
Don't get me wrong, Smart Phones are a great way of communication. By instant calls, text messages, emails and more. But where do we draw the line?

Vegas Bob is has been working on a Commercial Project for around 3 months now ... 6 days per week, 10 hours per day so it is very difficult for VB to show home to clients ... but he does!
Last Sunday VB showed homes to one of his relatives for around 3 hours and by the end of our showing they found one they wanted to make a offer on. Even though MLS was showing that the home was still available I called the RE agent listing the home … (17 comments)

"Good Morning" everyone, Vegas Bob hopes everyone had a wonderful "Fathers Day" and you are all ready to make some money.
I won't be making any for the next several days because I am leaving on a JET Plane!
At noon this morning VB will be boarding a plane headed for Minnesota, the "Land of Mosquitoes" ... ;o(
My family mentioned with all the rain in the Midwest that these (Blood Sucking) critters are everywhere.

Next week Vegas Bob will be headed to the Midwest to help some relatives pack up their belongings and move to Las Vegas Nevada.
VB will be helping them drive a HUGE truck full of all their furniture, toys and more.
Vegas Bob is not sure how much time he will have to post stories & blogs so if you don't see me around much this is why!
VB will do his best to write comments and hopefully post some photos of the journey.

You will never guess what "Vegas Bob" saw in his back yard this morning!
I woke up a little late this morning and as I was making some coffee I looked out the back window of my home and you wil never guess what I saw?
They were just standing their, the whole family and they wanted Vegas Bob to hook them up with breakfast because they had had a long Journey.
It was Uncle Zinc, his wife, two sons & two daughters and one of his daughters was a newborn!

The (Modern Day Gypsy) is wondering where are your (Ancestor's) from?
As everyone knows deep - deep down we are one big family and people have (Ancestor's) from all over the world.
The reason that I have posted a pic of Europe is because on my father's side his (Ancestor's) came from Czech Republic and my mother's (Ancestor's) came from Romania.
I have spoken with my grandparents when they were alive and the recall both on my father's & mother's side that many years ago they were gypsies. So that explains why I like to travel so much and go to … (17 comments)

This blog is all about being (HAPPY) and here is a photo of my Burmese family in Las Vegas Nevada.
We meet at the Buddhist Monastery early Sundays and eat food from Thailand and Myanmar (Burma). The money that is collected at the gathering is donated to the monastery to help pay for the building, food for the monks, etc.
The Burmese population is growing in Las Vegas and 5 of these people in this photograph are really my relatives. Anyone that really knows me and follows my blogs has seen some of these people before, can you tell me … (5 comments)
