oregon coast vacation: Many Californians Buy Second Homes in Coos Bay, Oregon - 07/04/15 02:38 AM
My husband and I sometimes talk about where would be the best place to live at retirement. Neither of us are from Sacramento, and I prefer the ocean over just about any place inland. Homes along the coast in California are extremely expensive, even a small home, and although prices are better in Hawaii, I don't think I will be able to persuade my husband to live year-round in Hawaii. When a creative inspiration hits me, though, I find it is best to just give in to that impulse and wander off after it, or I might miss the opportunity. Life is often about missed opportunities and roads not taken, the other side of the choices we DO select. Sometimes, though, if you're really lucky, you can turn around and go back down that road to pick … (6 comments)
