mortgage tallahassee: How To Determine The Right Loan When Buying A Home - 03/20/14 11:47 PM
With mortgage interest rates so low, many of the people buying a home in Tallahassee are wondering whether they should go with a 15 year mortgage or the more traditional 30 year fixed rate mortgage loan.
The answer to the question will be unique to each person, but I have put together a methodology that will help you work through the problem yourself. It might seem a little complicated for people who haven’t amortized a few thousand mortgage loans before, but hang in there, I think the logic will shine through.

mortgage tallahassee: Why The Debt Relief Act Needs To Be Extended Into 2014 And Beyond - 12/10/13 07:34 PM
I am not sure why, but there isn't much talk yet about extending the Debt Relief Act into 2014.
Before you (yawn) and figure this topic doesn't impact you, you might want to reconsider your position.
In fact, this issue will have a significant impact on home values for the next five to ten years, so you might want to take the time to speak your mind.

Short Sale Debt Forgiveness Savings Could Be Large Long-time reader "Steve" wrote in the other day asking:
Not sure what tax year this will take effect, but if the tax cut isn’t extended for Fiscal year 2013, then everyone on the fence about whether to do a short sale needs to strongly … (4 comments)
