Thermal imaging averts a potential dangerous dryer fire.
Mighty Mo does it again!  He loves his job.
I do a lot of One-Year Warranty Inspections.
They are the last time a buyer has a chance to have the builder address anything wrong with the house.
During those inspections the report needs to be very specific.  And they are extremely helpful inspections.
One very important thing I do is sweep the house with a thermal camera.
That is the only way we can see the quality of the insulation behind the drywall, and any other of a myriad of things a thermal camera can detect.

This is the clogged peek-a-boo dryer exhaust vent opening - and dangerous!
I had to search for it.  Knowing it was behind the house it took a minute to locate it.
But there it was, the clogged peek-a-boo dryer exhaust vent.
The underside of the deck was covered with a plastic lattice work material.
Which is fine if you want to have a little visual appeal.
But not so good if there is the need to get under there to do something.
In this case the dryer vent was on the outside of the house, about 14' high, and under the deck.

What do you think it is?  The microwave?  Toaster?  Hot tub?  Computer (for lots of reasons...)?
Actually, it is none of the above.
The most dangerous appliance in your house may be your dryer!
Think about it.  Dryer fires cost Americans as much as $100 million annually!  They result in almost 50,000 fires that require the fire department, and average 400 injuries and 15 fatalities - annually.  They cause more fires than electrical problems.  And 81% of them happen in residential homes. (1)  That is dangerous!
