It is important that apartment complexes regularly inspect the exterior railings for unsafe conditions. Loose boards, rotted wood, popped nails, and damaged posts can all lead to injury.

Is your deck railing safe?
 
You have had your deck for a while; you have kept it in good condition. Regular painting has protected it from water damage and rot. Pressure washing and maintenance helps in maintaining the value year after year. It looks good by all appearances. But could you be missing something?

Deck railing safety requires regular inspections.
Ignoring the problem will not solve it.
The tenant hasn’t complained, doesn’t make it okay.
If you are waiting for things to get worse – it will!
Nobody has gotten hurt, one day that will change.
 
Regular inspections, routine maintenance can go a long way in the prevention of problems to people and property.
