It took a contractor to find this tricky leak in Folsom. Others were trying to repair all sorts of likely sources of the leaking water. Plumbers putty, tightening of the drain, and checking the overflow proved to be useless. Sometimes finding the leak is just hard to find. After all the other ideas were exhausted, I had a chance to take a look. I opened the ceiling below to get a look up close, I could see that water had been leaking for some time. It was hard to see the crack, but I (6 comments)
Funny how some of the estimates that the contractor can churn out can sit on a counter or drawer for years like it is some sort of locked in price to be played whenever ready. Forget that a lot of time and energy may have gone into the production of that estimate and the request was urgent at the time. Many may even believe that the bottom line is still good, is it? So, how long is that estimate good for? I know I put a 30 day limit on all my estimates, there are too (10 comments)
I Realize That You Did It Yourself, But The Wires Should Be Inside The Box
There is nothing wrong with a little do-it-yourself project on your own home, but you need to know what you are doing. Just because the fan works doesn't mean it is safe or even a good idea. The owners had done the work themselves.

New Counters To Be Installed Next Week In Folsom Apartments
New counters installed in apartments can be a part of the regular maintenance of the property or a part of a renovation project. Either way it is important to find a contractor who can both install the cabinets and be able to work in an apartment environment. Along with the installation, there are other trades that may be involved. Electrical, cabinetry, and plumbing may need to be moved or altered in some way. It is good to have a contractor with an understanding of all trades when installing (4 comments)
Early in the Folsom water damage repair project, things can look a bit overwhelming. There will be damaged materials, discolored surfaces, and maybe even some dry rot involved; all of this can be corrected by a water damage repair professional. It is important to get the source of the water damage repaired to prevent further damage to the materials. This may be a leaking water pipe, cracked drain line, or moisture seeping in from the outside weather. No matter the source, the moisture needs to be stopped before a successful repair (6 comments)
How Much is it Going to Cost to Repair the Water Damage in my Folsom, CA Home?
As a Dry Rot and Water Damage Repair Contractor in Folsom, CA, I hear this all the time. I wish I had a quick answer but I don’t. The repairs required for one home will be different in the next. Since water damages can vary, some things have to be taken into consideration before a cost estimate can be given. These are the major factors that will determine the cost of the repair of water damage. The area of damage. This makes sense; a small leak (20 comments)
