Before you Move,take a look at your reason to sell and think through the process before you do anything else. Good planning pays off. It makes sense to do the standard list of  things:
a) Release your personal attachment to your home (not always so easy to do) b) Take your personality out of the picture (also not always so easy to do)c) Get a jump on packing and de-clutter (for sure not  so easy to do)d) Make all closets and cabinets ship-shape (another challenge)

We had been on the hunt for a horse farm for our clients.  
 "A  turnkey organic farm with a good horse barn where  like-minded people could share the acreage and facilities, " we were instructed.

We've been doing lots of "due diligence"  on acreage and eco-community building sites this year. 
 We actually love this time period. It's a "party" where we get together with everyone and enjoy a project of the land-kind.

I am excited about eco-innovation. Especially when eco-innovation in the form of a model for eco-community comes to my home town, Asheville, N.C. 
That's right. Big News.
The very first eco-development  in the country to combine wide-ranging land conservation with an eco-friendly community of solar-heated and solar-powered " green-built"  homes, has done just that.
