Long Day of Flights Can Make You
Appreciate Your Home State
 
I had to catch three flights in my trek to Fairbanks Alaska. The day started early out of Sacramento, with a quick stop-n-go in Seattle. I literally walked off the plane, into the terminal and straight onto the next flight. I didn’t even get a chance to see the weather there. Seattle is one of my favorite cities to visit; I wish I had a longer layover there.

End “Hidden Hunger” In El Dorado County
 
 
There is a local Food Bank in El Dorado County who is providing food to families in many ways.
 
 
The Food Bank provides food assistance on a daily basis in partnership with over 40 local emergency food response agency sites including battered women’s shelters, senior centers, local food pantries, under privileged youth programs, youth shelters, soup kitchens, maternity homes and more.
