One of my very favorite Asheville-based businesses is Sow True Seed. What makes me say this? I love the idea that they are an "open-pollinated/non-hybrid vegetable, herb and flower seed company specializing in heirloom, certified organic. . ." seed company. In addition, the mission of this company is to " to promote and foster community sustainability by helping to preserve our shared botanical heritage and seed a new era of sustainable culture and ecological wisdom." Recently, we reviewed Crest Mountain and the Villages at Crest Mountain. Then we took a stroll around the perimeter of the eco village where we caught up with Clint Lasher, Project Manager for the Villages.
