education: REACHABLE-TEACHABLE EQUALS GROWTH - 09/14/21 06:18 AM
Haven't you had times where you closed yourself off from something? It could be a person (s), a place, unpleasant memory or even conversation. We control the open and close doorway allowing things in or out to our standards and satisfaction. If one becomes a good listener, they will always be open while a thinker operates in a closed loop i.e. thoughts emotions and replaying of events past, present or future.
SUBJECTS U LIKE (or don't)

education: STOP TRUMP? - 03/08/16 06:22 AM
I am talking about the movement to stop Trump from this one point of view. Why doesn't the best person win? Why the need to stop anyone? Furthermore, pay close attention to this movement. Here you will learn why nothing has changed for decades using the STOP THEM approach.
TRUMP GROWS
The people who do the planning using the STOP THEM approach throw power, money and fame around wielding it as their weaponry. What many don't realize is that their best efforts may fail or do something worse. It may make the target to be stopped even more popular thus having a reverse effect.
CAUSE & EFFECT ANSWERS TO ITSELF

education: PRINCIPAL SAYS CAN YOU HELP ME? - 09/02/15 12:40 AM
That's how the phone call started out. I proceeded to vet the caller and discovered that she was NOT ready to hit the ground running in Real Estate. The dialog was guarded but flowing back and forth when she said certain words to me. Upon hearing them, I had to tell her we need to hang-up, I am sorry and I have to go.
SHE HAD AN AGENT
Not once but several times. Mam, I cannot help you and I cannot continue to speak with you. WHY? This lady had an agent, signed sealed and locked in that she was working with but didn't care … (9 comments)

education: COLLEGE DEGREE DECADES AGO MEANT MORE - 06/30/14 08:15 AM
Go back some years and a college degree was a big deal. Heck, if you want to explore the subject of education, getting a High School diploma was a big deal. What happened? Now, the GED has devalued the high school diploma and the college education has taken on new dynamics as well
GOING INTO DEBT
First of all, going into debt to purchase anything is risky business. I believe just about everyone has come to terms about taking out a loan for a car or a home. But other than that, debt binds one unless one knows how to leverage it and make it … (2 comments)

education: WITHOUT A FINISH YOUR START IS LACKING - 05/20/13 10:10 AM
In 2005, I completed my college degree (s) just to see what everyone was talking about. I was reminded that having a diploma is not a big deal. It is what you do with it that counts. It is like a license to perform a task, the tasks that require standard knowledge and education. One person made a statement to me I never forgot....
A college degree in the business world, in the world of recruiters, and human resource personnel says... that you have finished something that you started. It is a proven, acceptable test of time and results. When applying … (23 comments)

education: YOUR EMPLOYER IS RESPONSIBLE TO YOU TOO - 04/15/13 12:10 AM
Responsible for what you may ask? YOUR TRAINING. Your success and ongoing never ending education in this business. Your employer should provide programs, lectures, training, materials, seminars and supervision with assistance and if not at least make it available to you and for you. An agent who is licensed under someone has to be nurtured and become part of that businesses via the business plan
IF YOUR LICENSE IS JUST HANGING AROUND...SO WILL YOU SOON ENOUGH
If all you are doing is hanging a license somewhere and hoping for the best, well I don't think your at the top of your … (5 comments)

education: WHY I DONT LIKE ACTIVERAIN EXPLAINED - 12/19/12 12:10 AM
The results are in. They are conclusive and have stood up to rigorous testing by tens of thousands of people over a period of extended time and double checked by hundreds of thousands randomly across the United States and Canada. This tests are self-evident and speak for themselves. No further testing is required and this matter is closed

education: COLLEGE GETTING IN AND OUT WITH HIGH GRADES - 11/15/12 11:21 PM
About seven years ago, I decided to go see what all the BUZZ WUZ on the subject of having a degree. I decided to go to college and see for myself what it was and why it was touted to be so important. For me,  I never liked high school learning mostly because I was made to go and learn and not because I wanted to go. College is optional and subjective learning

education: THE LEARNING CURVE IS HOW WE LEARN - 10/22/12 07:32 AM
Something we don't discuss enough is the start-up of anything or the learning of it. You see you naturally come into the world in this mode and it unfolds on its own as you mature. Children enter into the richness of of it when they start asking HOW and WHY questions about everything. Unfortunately, there are forces in the world that come against that dynamic
ITS IN EVERYONE AND TURNS ON AUTOMATICALLY
It is fitting to remind us that we are all self-contained motion machines with instructions to seek out answers as part of our growth and development. The learning curve is programmed … (0 comments)

education: I MAY SEE SOMETHING ABOUT U YOU DONT - 10/12/12 10:09 AM
I am speaking of FEEDBACK & INPUT and how beneficial those two things can be when applied. However, they are not always welcomed yet the people who have it want to download it. In order to do that in the personal world, permission is required. If not given or refused well that's life. In the professional world it is called performance reviews

I had some trouble with my wireless technology all of a sudden and investigated accordingly. I just updated everything and it was working and then failed at some point. Eventually I call in my service provider to check the Internet connection speeds which are your upload and download capability and ask them to send someone out. It is no charge to do so to me

One of the reasons I like visiting ActiveRain is for the variety of posts and comments. When you take a moment to consider that people all over the United States and Canada are commenting and that it is within a certain realm of mutual interest, well you have nothing less than a sweet online treat.

I like reading the different posts and have grown to like many of their authors too. I never know what mood or focus I may have until I log-in and begin the viewing and reviewing process. I then gravitate toward my interests. I … (10 comments)

education: IF YOU ARE DOWN, SUFFERING, HURTING, HOPELESS AND TIRED I KNOW YOU - 10/22/11 08:24 AM
You see, I have traveled the hard road and I am better for it. I didn't choose that road, it chose me. It knew the other road and its message would not get through, so instead of giving up on me, it provided a way for me to learn and improve. Putting resentment, despair, complaining and giving up aside, there is gold to be discovered

education: STOP HAVING SEX AND START HAVING... - 10/20/11 08:56 AM
You fill in the blank after the word "having". It is a different blank for everyone. Too often today, there is too much emphasis on sex in everything and just about everywhere. You would think it is more important that the economy the way some people portray it. It has brought down Kings, presidents and corporations, disrupted families and all for what?
INTIMACY IS PRIVATE...ENTERTAINMENT IS PUBLIC

education: IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN I WOULD - 08/29/11 12:49 PM
It is a question to stimulate conversation to the more mature. To the young listening in, it can be come very interesting to partake in. Just add you own dynamics to the answer to make it mean something. Less is more. I will go first. IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN I WOULD: ask more questions. That's right.....

education: REAL ESTATE CYCLING SHOULD BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOL - 08/29/11 04:42 AM
We have had 17 previous Real Estate cycles that tell us things. If someone is to buy a home, a huge investment for their future, they should at least be informed on the subject in a general and responsible way. I lost a small fortune many years ago because I was not aware of buying and selling cycles.
THERE IS A FLOW
There is a season for all things. Nature can boast of this example. In Real Estate, there is a time to buy and a time to sell and even one to invest. There are general rules and principals that … (0 comments)

education: COLLEGE DEGREE......DOES IT......make a difference out there today..? - 09/22/10 03:33 AM
In 2003-2005, I decided to knock out a couple of degrees...I enjoyed the experience. I was employed by a medium sized Real Estate firm during the day and at night and on weekends.... went to school. I have done fairly well without a degree all my life. Do you need a degree in today's job market?
I hear the cost of going to college has gone up. The economy has caused many to re-think their expenses. Just how important is it to have a degree and is it necessary in today's topsy turvy climate of uncertainties....?
