Politicians who run for public office always have the words but not the music. They know what people want to hear and they oblige and that system is the current one. What follows is the same old rehashing and lack of results but one thing goes on. They get well-paid, perks, health insurance as well as power and fame. Years ago, I go to see a movie and this is when they didn't have all those coming attractions and before the show noises. You just sat there conversing with one another and a quiet hum filled the auditorium as the auditorium filled up. This one was about 450 seats and was at near capacity when all of a sudden.....

I actually get bored if I know that two people in the movie I am watching are going to become naked and do things at some point. I personally don't go to see movies where this is on the headline. It is called pornographic or soft porn and it sort of made itself at home over the last two decades. It's true and I am coming clean. I am guilty and will probably give myself up if I am contacted without a fight. Notice to all movie houses yes, I have violated your no outside drinks of food policies when visiting your theater. However, let me share why I have done that and perhaps we can learn from this

My wife and I went to see this movie called "The Conjuring". Finally something that doesn't play up gore, has a good story and is acted out with some believe ability so that even a skeptic has to calm the hair on the back of his neck. I recommend strapping yourself to the chair only to stop your hand from making its way to your mouth where you will start biting your nails. Yes, it is a nail biter...You have been warned

I was in a large movie theater. Got a good seat. The previews have been played, the opening logos came and went and ...the movie has started. I am sitting where I want. I am comfortable and I know that the opening scenes and the first few minutes of screen time sets up the whole movie. My entire focus is on the movie, the screen and all my pleasure sensors are engaged

They continue to blow the concept of going to the movies away. For the middle, lower and senior class, it remains slightly out of reach especially in today's economic environment. But something else is missing. There is no memorable occasion associated with going to the movies. Does anyone really believe that the movie they are watching just happened to all come together and everyone spoke and acted well when it was their turn to do so? People just perfectly responded for 2 hours and the director just filmed it all? OUTTAKES are the mistakes that were taken out and replaced via re-shoots and some editing and the end result is a finished film.

I just went all wireless and upgraded all my electronic goodies which includes my TV, printer, head set, and laptop. I tested my speeds to download data which is data being sent to me and uploading data which is me sending data to me. Look it up if not clear. Anyway, my speeds were slow sending and receiving and on my TV, it was slow to download movies too
