defeat: PROBLEMS summon SOLUTIONS - 06/09/19 07:21 AM
Change your thinking here. We have an existing mindset regarding problems i.e. that they interfere with our lives and take-away from the enjoyment of our activity, gain or planning. Yes they do all that and more but why be surprised, put-off or stopped from having and pursuing your want, need or end result? Problems in and of themselves have no such power on their own but only the power that we give them
WHOSE IN CHARGE?
That's what we will find out when a problem arises i.e. who is in charge, what is needed to course correct or fix and how to keep whatever took … (15 comments)

defeat: GIVING UP? (food for the soul) - 12/26/18 07:50 AM
Giving up? What a defeatist word. You surrender? To what? Whom? Why? To reach the point in your life or in any moment where you let this into your psyche and then act on it by agreeing to it is about as close to a near death experience one can have while still alive and not be in a coma. Long before you surrender, the forces wanting you to were/are at work. But you see, I know why those forces exist

defeat: FINISH WHAT YOU START - 01/09/17 06:45 AM
If there was to be something, anything that speaks ill against a person or business it would be that they leave whatever they have begun UNDONE! A task that has not been completed haunts the one who began but did not complete. It speaks in its own language and everyone understands it too. It points the finger quite well and nothing less than action will cure it
THE ALTERNATIVE?
Excuses! Mankind has become efficient and quick to create and share reasons as to why something is not done even to the point of making it acceptable only because of repetition. If something is said over and … (13 comments)

defeat: THE POWER OF BELIEF - 04/19/15 08:37 AM
The minute one summons the BELIEF of defeat, it will be done to them as quickly as the belief can deliver it up. A nano second, a wisp of time even faster than thought, beliefs govern all outcomes of the human journey and its results or lack of them. If one gives up, what follows is the proof after that
I HOPE SO
Instead of ruling a defeat or surrender into play, why not summon hope? Whats wrong with allowing faith to kick in and surprise you and your beliefs? Leaving one's self open to "come what may" after all is said and done … (5 comments)

defeat: THIS TOO SHALL PASS HOLDS - 04/12/15 12:14 AM
Try to remember far back in your young life when something presented itself at that time that appeared to be the end of the world as we understood it as kids do. It was real for its time, moved us every which way and we thought it was only happening to us. Our first problem appeared whatever it was
THE LESSON OF A PIMPLE
It was and is different for all of us as what bothers me may not bother you and vice verse. I remember seeing the first pimple on my forehead that had me considering faking illness so I wouldn't have to go to school until I figured … (12 comments)

defeat: THE ART OF THE RISK - 02/10/15 04:54 AM
First and foremost should be the WHY we risk. It's to gain! You cannot make a gain unless you take a risk! The return on the gain is controlled by the risk taker. Sometimes it is a material risk for a material gain and other times it can take the form of many other categories. Let's take a favorite one for instance: It is better to.....

defeat: START WITH THE PART YOU PLAY - 09/19/14 12:56 AM
Accountability or the act of giving an accounting of ones self in regards to a situation has become a mere word instead of a watch word. When in the mix of life and adventure, if things don't go well or as planned, the temptation to blame and look outside of ourselves is not only strong but subtle too. Your pride doesn't need much blame opportunity. Just a small piece is food-fest for the ego. Someones wrong helps to make you right. You then see to it that they are wrong

defeat: IF YOU HAD TO START ALL OVER - 08/27/14 08:03 AM
Would you be better for it or bitter for it? You see experience and knowledge that comes with learning as you go it is undervalued at times. WHY? Fear followed closely by doubt does it. It tries to "take away" from what you know. Something goes wrong and your world goes to pieces. More accurately, it is your comfort zone that crashed not the world.

defeat: SLAY THE PROBLEM NOT THE PERSON - 11/17/13 08:25 AM
Slay the dragon (problem) not the person....go after the problem. Stay focused and discipline yourself to finish what you have started. The results are most satisfying. Look for your problems and then put them in their place. We are the superior being here and we were not put here to be defeated. Use the fierce winds of resistance to carry you to your success not your failure   HIDE AND BUY TIME?...no no no   Head in the sand tactics only go so far. You got to come up sometime and when you do, there is the problem only worse because time allows … (6 comments)

defeat: FAITH WORKS EVEN WHEN YOU DONT - 05/24/13 11:30 PM
I am a firm believer that with every negative circumstance, with every problem...there is a solution and an upside or a positive ending. I base this on the fact that there are no accidents in life and that things happen for a reason. I would prefer to be contacted in a dream or by an Angel, but sometimes not being available prevents that
THERE IS A RHYME AND A REASON TO EVERYTHING...
I have trained my self to see and recognize problems for what they are. I want to understand them because I know the second part is coming after that … (9 comments)

defeat: HOW TO USE PROBLEMS CHALLENGES AND SURPRISES EFFECTIVELY - 04/18/13 12:32 AM
When something doesn't go well we find there is a reason for it. Then that reason or the failure becomes our focus to correct and right. We sometimes refer to this as trial and error. One thing we do well to remind ourselves about is that with all the problems that one can encounter personally and professionally, we have the ability to command and overcome the vast majority if not all of them

defeat: MAKING IT TO THIS VERY MOMENT - 04/04/13 11:21 PM
Are you a in the moment person? Do you have a heart of gratitude right here and now or are you always chasing down your happiness believing it is around the corner hidden in some tangible item or place. By now, you have lived enough to know this answer and what to do about it. It is simpler than you think too

defeat: GOING and GETTING PAST THE QUITTING STAGE - 10/10/12 05:10 AM
You work hard and you do what you believe is right. Things should start to line up and then make sense. Why not? You have done this before and you have seen the results from your thinking and doing. But then, something does not go as planned. It even rejects your best efforts and you are now at a point where you want to walk away...Should you?

defeat: NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO START OVER - 03/28/12 08:10 AM
When everyone is losing their home all across America, then you losing yours gets lost in the numbers. When millions are unemployed across the nation, the personal stigma of it is diluted a bit. If your credit score has been beaten into the ground, well there is no where to go but up from there...
YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO
Starting again or over should be easier for one very important reason. You now know what to do and what not to do. There is value in experience. Once you get past the pain of shock and resentment, the ability to go … (4 comments)

defeat: STARTING OVER...THE WORDS ARE SCARIER THAN THE ACTUAL JOURNEY - 06/02/11 06:18 AM
Many many years ago, I got my first taste of defeat. I managed to always pay my bills on time, buy the house, have the three cars and the family that goes with it. I was living the American Dream. Then, it happened. I lost everything literally over night....This is definitely one frightening experience to meet and go through
IT HAPPENED TWICE...BUT I LEARNED
The first time this happened to me, I wept for three months which looking back really helped me to clear my mind and deal with the stress of it all. Slowly, old beliefs fade out or away … (70 comments)
