I just finished reading an article where they report that the economy is not producing jobs in accordance with stimulus or projected job growths for this time. The word recovery is not accurate when it comes to unemployment. Unemployment is doing what Real Estate is doing in some parts of the country which is to remain unstable..

I came across a little article that caused me to think. It goes like this. The O.E.C.D. or the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development just completed a poll which is comprised of data from 34 member countries that concluded that Mexicans put in 10 hours per day of work they get paid for and some that they don't.
OTHERS WORK HARD TOO
Worthy to note that the Japanese, South Koreans, and the Chinese all work similar hours, but put in less hours of unpaid labor such as cooking and cleaning.

It is not easy to rent property out now a days and to seek out properties for rent either. Both landlords and tenants have their hands full. Landlords want the rent paid on time and the common sense rules obeyed. Prospective tenants want a safe and affordable place to stay...so what is the problem?

I manage a couple of rentals that are like temperature gauges for the local economy. People respond to my ads but not everyone who calls... qualifies. I took to posting the qualifications on site so when people go to see the houses, they know what to expect. That has reduced the number of calls, but I still get some interesting inquiries
EVERYONE IS WELCOMED

We have a broken economy, an unemployment issue, a battered and bruised housing market and a federal deficit problem. There is dissension in the house of politics and the world at large doesn't respect America. I find it interesting at how we are quick to take a stand on something half way around the world (Libya) without hesitation. It can be debated whether we should or should not. That is not my point. What I have noticed over the years is that we do not have an exit strategy once we do get involved
How can you get into something and not calculate the costs? You would think by now that we have an understanding of this. This is defective thinking and shocking when you consider that it comes from high level sources.

The figure quoted above is 6% less than what he made in 2009. So the recession has not spared this man and he too lost money. Now the corporation credits CEO John Stumpf with helping to bring in income in excess of 12 billion dollars last year. He must be rewarded for doing his job.

I notice that newspapers are reluctant to talk too much about unemployment being high and not responding to stimulus. They will also approach the subject of housing tip toeing as they do. Even the economy and what we call the recession is approached gingerly all so that they do not make things worse when discussed.

The Riverside and San Bernardino areas of California have the hardest hit by the current and latest downturn in the economy and Real Estate devaluations. We continue to be bogged down with foreclosure activities and high unemployment hovering at about 15%
I remember when I came into this area seven years ago. It was rich with so many possibilities and potentials just waiting to be put to good use. It was and it did. We have all seen the newspapers, blogs and reports. Everyone once in a while, there are articles that belt out...Recovery has started, Real Estate picking up, foreclosures are down, unemployment claims are slowing and jobs are being created.
The first thing to hit me is ...where is all this taking place? It isn't happening where I live. It is not happening in my county, my state and I wonder where in the country this is taking place. I understand three things right away:

I am reading that that a recent census showed that 18.4 million homes in the United States which is about 11% are vacant because of foreclosures, bankruptcies, and a decline in demand. I am stunned that this finally happened. I actually knew this would happen 2-3 years and contacted both my State Senators for help.
Both gave a long dissertation on how well they are doing on about 40 other things and then ended with, we will certainly look into this. Well, it appears that everyone but them are looking into this and I mean looking as opposed to not doing … (10 comments)

What is with that...? The subject requires no IQ what so ever. You don't even have to meet on the subject. Millions of people are relying on unemployment until job grow is spurred on. Until then, this is the only source of income for many.
By now, you may realize how everything is interconnected to everything else. It is complex and one something fails, it pulls down several other things at the same time...
People need income to pay bills...Bills go to pay for services and for people who supply those services.

I had to share this brief post....I am reading that they are bailing banks out in Europe because the-Euro is not performing, Real Estate is down and their economy is weak too
I had to laugh because the people over there...the common man and woman in the street doesn't like it and is not buying it either.
In America, we went first and the people are and were upset. The idea of feeding funds to well off institutions instead of the people they serve doesn't go well with anyone....
