How many times on AR reading the post, where members were not sure about certain things, I thought that in this situation I would go to my best attorney. Luckily, now I have many working for me.
I am a broker of a tiny family company; I do not the backing of a team of lawyers, and I do not have the time and money for every question I stumble upon. Maybe it is because I have too many questions :)

Why post every day? What is the benefit of posting every day? I believe that posting every day, every other day, or at any other regular or irregular intervals is irrelevant, as regularity is not the virtue of blogging. I am sure you already noticed this nice feature of the dashboard, when you go over with the cursor, it highlights it and makes it sort of pop up?
So, if you like me, and this jumpy stuff annoys you, here is how to deal with it in Mac. You put your cursor pass the right edge of the box and then scroll with no problem. No jumpy stuff, nothing.

If you blog, then you get those spam comments with some BS and then a link to another site, which will make you rich…
No, I do not read this stuff. And, of course, I do not follow the link.
But I am very tempted to delete these comments when I see them... and I don’t.
If I delete the comment, yes, I get rid of it right away, but the cockroach is live and well, and will be leaving comments on other blogs posts. Your blog posts.
Deleting the comment only deletes one comment...

Wanted to check blog roll and see what new posts are their by those who I subscribe to, so clicked on “Blogs”, impatiently found Find More Blogs button on this hated pop up screen, and all I see are 10 blog posts. Nothing on the right, where I used to see faces of those I have subscribed to…
Changed the filters (another improvement, which was as needed as a fifth leg to a dog) to all blogs for 12 months, and … again got only 10 posts. No, there is no next or previous button.

I think it is a silly question.
You do not HAVE TO blog. Contrary to numerous pundits, who failed in Real Estate and are now teaching us how to do it, blogging and success in real estate are not tied together. Look around, check your top producers in your local association of Realtors, and you will see for yourself. So, not blogging is perfectly OK.
But if you want to blog, then content is the king. If you have nothing to say, people will have nothing to read.

Hmm, we always had “Subscribe to Blog” button on our AR.
Today I decided to subscribe to AR member, and started looking for “Subscribe” button and couldn’t find it. But there was “Follow to Blog” button. After some hesitation, I pressed it and… BINGO… the page returned the red warning sign but with a positive message that I am now … subscribed.

Now we got the first multi-millionaire, and we all know her. Congratulations, Lenn Harley.
2 Million points... What a journey.
Lenn was #1 for quite some time before Todd. I think, she passed Bryan Tutas, and became the Queen of Active Rain until a young and aspiring Todd Clark took the throne.

I will always remember this story, when a volunteer from our New York office decided to look into retiring in Florida and went to check those communities for 55+.
She was in a Club House waiting for her husband, and at next table there were 4 older ladies. She did not pay attention to the conversation, but then suddenly noticed that it actually was not a conversation. They were talking to themselves. They did not listen to each other. There were 4 monologues, but not a conversation.

My blog post"Relationship Is When You Are Naked In Bed" was featured, had its share of activity for few days, and then it all stopped. That's how blog posts live and die, nothing unusual.
Unusual , however, was that today, on Sunday morning, after 3 days of it being dormant, there were comments, and not an occasional one, but ten of them. That was very unusual, and I was puzzled by it, and even commented on this strange occurence asking why suddenly there was extra activity.

Contrary to popular belief, writing is G-d given talent, and G-d isn’t really generous with it. I assume this popular belief is because, technically, we all can write. I am curious whether weird economy is paired with weird English. «Short sale» is a very common combination, and I doubt there is anyone in the nation, who at least have not heard it or read it.
Of course, you can find it everywhere. And often in a sentence, where it is used as a verb.
«... to short sale».
But sale is not a verb. I could understand «to short sell», but I have a feeling that «to short sale» is not really English...
But I am an immigrant, and can easily be confused, so what do you think?

I also can't agree to some comments, where all the blame goes to lenders, as if we were signing Notes and Mortgages under the big influence of heck knows what. I do not like the reference to Lenders because it makes us idiots. The bank was not creating the fake value, it only provided money... or easy money.

For the last few weeks something started happening, which did not happen before. I am pretty bad with Social media, so I figure there is a new trend, which I do not know about.
I started getting messages that I have been endorsed on LinkedIn by a whole bunch of people.
I am getting messages “Jon, I’ve just endorsed you for new skills & expertise!”

I have been selling condo-hotels for 11 years. Every time I ask my Buyers how they intend to use a condo-hotel unit. Usually they say it is their vacation getaway, that they do not plan to retire in Daytona, would rent it when not in use by them, which is what condo-hotels are for.

If you are clumsy, as I am, you know that “surprise” of sending the email message to the wrong recipient. It happened to me yesterday. I started typing the email address and immediately there was a pop up showing a bunch of email addresses starting with these letters, and I scrolled down to the right one and clicked and then clicked “Send”, but because my fingers worked faster than my brain, I did not even noticed that I clicked second best, which ended up in the wrong mailbox.

I finally “succumbed” to an AR meet-up. It was in Cocoa Beach, good 79 miles from me. Why Cocoa? Why not Orlando? Because Orlando has not hosted a meet up ever. I am puzzled why nobody hosted a meet-up in Orlando, with all active AR members in the area… But they don’t, so my choices are several hour drive to South Florida, or just an hour and 20 minutes to Cocoa Beach.
