Tonight I was looking through old blog posts on my blog at copybymarte.com, and I came across "September is Realtor Safety Month."
It reminded me of the risks you take every day, and it reminded me that EVERY month should be Realtor Safety Month.
This post is a year and a half old, but the message is important today, and every day.

This tragic news story is a reminder that you DO have a dangerous job - As much or more so than a clerk in an all-night quick stop.
Real estate agent killed on the job in West Des Moines
I know many agents do carry concealed weapons - which would add to their safety if they had a clue that they were in danger. But having two or more people in the house is probably the best deterrant to having to use that firearm.
Please take safety precautions - today and every day.
